Narrative (continued) & Descriptive

On Monday January 30, 2017 it seemed like this day already happened because yesterday we had a makeup class so it made me feel like this. Teacher came to class at 08.30 am. And checked our name to know that who absent or late. Then teacher asked Sittichai and Kitttikarn to tell friends that what we have done on Sunday.
Next, teacher explained us about the purpose and text organization again to make sure that we already understood it.
And the she let us did the activity about the symbols in the story worked in group of 5 people. After finishing, each group sent the representative to shared idea with all class. And teacher told us that our group got 3.5/5 points

Then she shown us the definitions of each symbols that it was written by someone on the Internet.

Teacher assigned us the project to make the cartoon book about the story that we have read worked in group of 3 people. And she let us break at 10.

 Today we started the new lesson “Description” so teacher shown us the animals pictures, places and person and let us described it.

After finishing, we began to study in handout.

In my opinion, the lesson wasn’t too difficult but it wasn’t easy. Today we just described things. So I thought today is fun for me to work in group with friends.

Narative

On Sunday January 29, 2017 I had class at 01.30 to 04.30 pm. Because teacher is going to Chiang Mai on Monday February 13, 2017 so we had to make up class on Sunday. We kept studying even though only had 26 students in the class. The building was quiet because there was only our class at HS308.

Teacher came at 01.30 pm. And began to checked the name to know that who was present or absent and late. First of all, she told us to talk about the story that she assigned us to read in the handout without looking at it.
After that, she asked us to do the diagram that we already done it again but this time did it by using Kylie’s information.

1. I was sensitive to smells. 6

Next, teacher explained a whole of the story for us again step by step. And then she let us worked in group of 4- 5 people to wrote the three sentences to summarize part 1 of the story and sent a representative of each group to shared idea together.


After that, we did the exercises and teacher gave us the corrective feedback when we already finished.
Today teacher assigned us to thing about the symbolic in this story.

The eggs >> “Love” Firstly she yearned for it but then she realized that love wasn’t beautiful like she thought. Finally, she destroyed it like she thrown the chickens away.

The well>> The area between children and adult She always excluded from adult world and be by herself in the special area.

The photos>> The good memory for her but now she can’t get it back. It was the memory that had her father in there.

Kylie’s cutting of photos>> “Freedom” she wanted to let herself freedom. She didn’t want to live with her mother. So she cut her head out of that photo and thrown it away

Nothing easy today because I had to read the story and analyzed what does it mean. Fortunately, it didn’t have difficult words too much so I can guess the meaning of each word. But if I don’t understood it I’ll ask my friends to answered that or sometimes I use dictionary  online to find the definition.
Today, I felt good because I felt good because there were only 26 students in the class so when I answered the questions teacher can hear my voice. But I felt lazy because today is Sunday I wanted to lay on my bed.

Recount(continued)


On Monday January 23, 2017 I went to class around 07.20 am. Certainly, teacher came to class at 08.30 am. She is always punctual. First of all, she checked list of our name to know who was presented, absent or late and then she let us talked about the weekends so I talked to my friends about my weekends that I went back to my hometown Suphanburi to help my mom worked and spent my time with my family and I went back to Nakhan Pathom on Saturday to do homework and clean my room. After that I went to Mr. Ice-cream: ice-cream Homemade to eat ice-cream and desserts.

And I went to Silpakorn University to feed the fish with the breads and took photos and then went back to my dorm.

After finishing talking about weekends, she gave us the corrective feedback of the homework that she assigned us to do on last week. First, she let us checked the answer with friends and then she gave us the corrective feedback. And then she let us did the exercise in sheet to finished it before we started the new lesson. She let us read silently and answer the questions by ourselves, summarized and presented in front of classroom.

The story was about “There were a woman and a boy. They drove too fast so they were stopped by the police. They pretended to understand license and the truck weren’t theirs. They seemed crazy. Finally, they can escape because the police was struck in the mud.” And that time I’m a representative of our group.

After finishing presentation, we read all the text again together. And teacher gave us corrective feedback about the exercises and finished the lesson.


Teacher started new lesson by showing us the example and let us do some activities; it was the questions about ourselves and then drew our own diagram then talked with friends about shave of each diagram. After that, she let us read the first two paragraphs and talked about it. We had to finish the class because we had no more time and we’ll study again on Sunday.

For me the difficult thing of today were summary the text by used my own words because I cannot make it clear but I solved that problem by asked from friends and I thought nothing easy today. Sometimes I answered the teacher maybe I sat too far from teacher so she cannot hear my voice.

Today for me was fun because I did exercises and talked with friends it was my favorite thing in the class.

Recount

On Monday January 16, 2017 I went to class around 7.20 am. When I arrived to the class I saw that all windows and the doors were opened. Yes, that’s it; the air-conditioners didn’t work but internet still available.
 
Today teacher came to class 7.25 am. First of all, she checked the list of name to know that who present, absent or late. After that she gave us a sheet it was about recount, and then we started studying by read the text and tried to guess the definition of the word “orientation”. And then she let us analyzed the text; it was about what, where, when, who, active verbs, linking words to do with time and specific participants. After that, housekeepers asked us to turn off the light and don’t allow using electricity because electricians were fixing the electrical system therefore we had to stop studying for a moment.


After they finished fixing, we continued studying with the new text; it was about culture in Toraja. Teacher let us read the text, analyzed the text and answered questions that follow. And then she let us to draw the sequence diagram about the text.

4. The coffin was bought out of the house and placed on an open. platform beneath the granary
5. Prepare the wooden puppet and a tower called lakian.
Phase2
1. Borne coffin from the house and placed in the lakian.
2. Buffalo matches.
3. Feasting, chanting and dancing in the night.
Today we cannot finish the lesson because air-conditioners didn’t work so it made us feel hot and cannot concentrate with studying.


 I thought today the lesson was pretty easy because I almost did exercises by myself however it still have some difficult words that I  never know before. The ways how I solved the problem were guessing words meaning from the context, asked from friends and using online dictionary.

I thought today will be better if air-conditioners can work normally because it will have better atmosphere than today. When air-conditioners didn’t work, we have to opened windows and doors so we have to heard lots of noises; it was very annoying.



Hello everyone, I have something special about myself that I want to tell you.


I’m an ordinary girl who got scholarship to go to Vietnam as an exchange student at FPT University Danang, Vietnam for a month.


I never expect that before and I joined this project because I wanted to improve my English skills, but I was the one of the representative of our university to go and study there. I was very glad due to I never go abroad before. Throughout I joined in this project, I never told my parents so when I called them to tell that I got the scholarship to go abroad. My mom asked with seriously tone “How much does the ticket cost to go to there?” and I suddenly said to her “Everything is free, mom!” Their voice was very excited and I knew they were smiling.

It was my first time to have my own passport.


 I was excited; it was my first time to sit in such a big vehicle like a plane!

Many foreigners on this plane both man and woman but I were looking for the handsome one.


“It was my first time to have breakfast on the sky”
I can’t hear the name of menu clearly, when the air hostess asked me. I just heard some words like a fish or chicken so I decided to choose chicken.



Wow! I never saw our earth in this aspect before.

 Finally, we arrived here FPT University.



We went out by bicycle, walked to the beach every day, studied, found food to eat, did something crazy together






Not only Thai friends but we also made friends with Vietnamese friend; they looked after us very well like we are the people in their family.




 I had tried lots of Vietnamese foods something delicious but something had better not to eat.



And we had a great opportunity to travel several places in Vietnam.










And this were the best opportunity for me. This can made me communicated with English and also learning Vietnamese as well. Even though, I came back to Thailand but we still keep in touch by using Facebook. If some I had free time as they had we will make video call. This is my unforgettable memory and it will become to my best remember forever.
